He is blaming it on having a long night. Im sure he echoed the sentiments of plenty of us and other nba players, but you would think these athletes would learn from john Rocker. You may think it, you may even be right, but you dont say it to the media. Reub is right, his broadcaster days are gone. hope he owns a restauraunt in miami. What tim said is pretty ignorant but im willing to bet that the majority of the league/most leagues feels the same way. I give him props for being honest and not just saying what the media wants to hear even if what he said is bigoted and ignorant.

If Shaq came out no one would say a word against him.I guess you give props to Kramer also.He could have been a little less ignorant in the way he said it, or a simple no comment gets the point across. Yes i give props to Kramer : Theres a difference between answering a question honestly and not telling people what they want to hear and going on a tyrade because you dont know how to handle getting heckled. I respect him for his honesty and not hiding behind a lie like alot of people who just tell people what they want to hear. With the shaq thing it has nothing to do with people saying anything against him it has to do with people knowing they are showering with an openly gay man, and thats going to make some people uncomfortable. If you don't think that some players would start showering when shaq was done or making sure they cover up a bit more in the locker room your out of your mind.
