I didn't want to sound too harsh because he was a lifesaver this year.  But if we want to compete for BE titles we're going to need somebody GREAT running the ball for this offense.

He gives us some good depth at RB and will hopefully contribute on special teams

Well deserved, he stepped up when we needed him to do so.

Now can he compete with what we have now??  The Spring will be interesting at RB.

No way the guy  can really compete for the starting rb spot, unless Ford, Plancher, Ponton, Samuels, Bellamy, and Butler just can't pick up the blocking schemes/ and keep fumbling the ball.  All these guys are heads and tails above Ben in pure talent.

That being said, I hope he gets lots of junk minutes and field time, cause he has definately worked his butt off.

Welcome to special teams, Ben.

Amen. It will be good to hopefully have some depth so we've got some talent on special teams. Our kickoff return team was brutal this year.

You guys need to watch the games.  He was a great blocker this year.  His block in the WVU game was key in giving Matt time to throw his TD that helped win that game.  He was right and picked up a blitzing LB coming from the left - great play !  

Congatulations to Ben - well deserved.
