USF’s Schedule Provides Plenty Of Quirks USF’s BIG EAST schedule, which includes five matchups with nationally ranked squads in the first nine league outings, continues to have Bulls’ fans scratching their heads.USF will face two of its home-and-home opponents, Notre Dame and Louisville, on both occasions before even coming close to taking on the third (DePaul, Feb. 17).  With seven games remaining in the regular season following the matchup with Notre Dame, only one opponent (Syracuse) to have been ranked among the nation’s elite remains for USF. Howard Helping Teammates In BIG EAST Play  Since making his USF debut against Louisville on Jan. 10, redshirt freshman Chris Howard has developed into the league’s top assist man.Howard currently tops the league in assists-per-game (6.17) in conference games only.  He dished out nine helpers against Marquette, one short of his personal best (10 vs. Cincinnati).Howard missed all of 2005-06 and the first half of this season following a pair of anterior cruciate ligament injuries.
