Its a big recruiting weekend but theres no way we should be having visitors just a few short days after todays tragedy. Hopefully all the recruits understand and if they don't screw em'. Ruger7mmmag Posted January 18, 2007 Group: Member Topic Count: 46 Content Count: 2,523 Reputation: 14 Days Won: 0 Joined: 01/08/2007 Share Posted January 18, 2007 Definitely the right thing to do, but sadly enough, it will probably cost us a guy or two as there are only so many weekends some of these guys can come and they are going to be making decisions based on the next 4-5 years of THEIR lives and if you're on the fence, you go with what you know or what's more of a sure thing. If they get to see another program up close and promises are made, vs not seeing our staff, facilities etc it will factor into their decision regardless if it was the "right thing" to do or not.That's just the cold hard reality of this business. Others will be rescheduled. Am sure some will not be. I am also sure that the coaches and players would not be ready to deal with recruiting visits this weekend.
