This weekends recruiting visits have been canceled.   Its a big recruiting weekend but theres no way we should be having visitors just a few short days after todays tragedy.  Hopefully all the recruits understand and if they don't screw em'.

Definitely the right thing to do, but sadly enough, it will probably cost us a guy or two as there are only so many weekends some of these guys can come and they are going to be making decisions based on the next 4-5 years of THEIR lives and if you're on the fence, you go with what you know or what's more of a sure thing.  If they get to see another program up close and promises are made, vs not seeing our staff, facilities etc it will factor into their decision regardless if it was the "right thing" to do or not.

That's just the cold hard reality of this business.  I'm hoping the trip for many of these guys was just a formality rather than decision deciders...

A good number of the visitors were already verbal commitments.  Others will be rescheduled.  Am sure some will not be.  I am also sure that the coaches and players would not be ready to deal with recruiting visits this weekend.

Should they be hosting recruits the same day as this kids funeral...

Would recruits parents want their kids treated like that if something tragic were to happen???

This shows that the USF program is truly a family.
