Who knows who reads message boards, so with that being said, I just wanted to say THANK YOU to whoever is responsible for getting the past few games on tv, on weeknights no less!

Win or lose, at least we have the opportunity to watch our team play. We always talk about exposure, well a prime time slot on local ABC is about as good as you can get.

Isnt it nice to be able to come home from work and have the option to watch some USF sports?

yea i really hope the ratings turn out ok for ABC by putting us on TV.

however, there is ZERO excuse why every game shouldnt be on TV with Catch 47.  there is something wrong when USF is playing and Catch 47 is showing either re-runs of CFL games, or some re-run of a fishing show.

Maybe because Catch 47 gets better ratings from that re-run then they do from airing a basketball program that is in the gutter.

Its like airing the University of Tampa game.....

If we can only draw 2500 people to the Sun Dome for a home conference game -- how many living rooms do you think tune in?

not many.  I assure you of that.

not many.  I assure you of that.

I would disagree... I am not a fan of the sport of basketball... but if the game is on TV where I can watch for free, pause it on my DVR when I need to hit the can, and can do other things... I will tune in.

I'm sure there are others like me...

I'm in line with Jim.

While I do attend a couple of games per season, if USF's on the tube,

I'll watch it.  Not really sure what the BH47 relationship w/USF is, but

I think this may be a cost - not necessarily revenue - issue when it

comes to picking up our games.

I'm with Jim also, I watched the game only cause it's USF ! I don't care if its USF's  two-headed, mutant, trans-gender, water polo team, I gotta support it.          ;)    (also I'd like to see it!)

As for channel 47, I think they fall into the same class as the Bull ring and Bull heaven...   good intentions, but with alternate motives...

All televised games are put on via the multimedia rights that USF has through their relationship with ESPN Regional Television. The reason that ALL games are not televised comes down who's going to pay for the broadcats.  

Not sure how much it costs to get a game on the air, but it must be really expensive.

hell, they have more HIGH SCHOOL sports on than USF sports...
