FYI...just booked a room at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn/Opelika for $239/night.  This is for a double queen suite room so has plenty of room for 4 to 6 people.  Not sure if they have any double's left but they do have king suites left.  

Sounds like the hotel is close to a mall that has free shuttle service to the stadium as well.

My wife and I jokingly sing that song all the time.

(She-ro, obviously a made up term, is used instead of HEROINE, a female HERO. What a lame song. But, I have never smoked, so I guess it worked.)

      Try this one. This is where we are staying.

We booked 7 rooms at the Mariott Grand National Hotel in Opelika. It is only 10 min from the stadium. Robert Trent Jones golf course is located on premises as well if anyone is looking at golfing while there as well.

careful with that one guys, no cancellation or refunds.. Also 190 bucks?  Stay in North Columbus with us! we will pay 190 for two nights at hampton in north columbus... That leaves us more $$ for the two tailgates!  Yes before the game tailgate and after is a must at this one!

No reason to cancel! I wouldn't miss this game for anything! Plus the aggravation of driving on game day to and from is going to be murder.

It's gonna be great to roll out of the room and be right down the street. Plus we are playing golf there!
