as long as Pacific wins I,m golden

They've lost 8 of their last 9 and they're  -3 1/2  (give or take what line you got) to a decent (by Big West standards) Cal St-Northridge team?  :o

Oh well. Bad day. BTW we may beat UCONN they suck and should not be ranked.

Of course, you say things like that just so you can bash us if we were to lose to UConn, and they will be ranked when we play them, so you are saying we are good enough to beat a ranked team :)  man you have been giving us some good props lately.

;D ;D ;D

guys what you fail to realize is that flasportsfan is the ever knowing genius of college basketball.  he saw more in one game then professional sports writers and coaches have seen all season from Uconn to know well enough that they shouldn't be ranked, let alone in the top 10.

If the other Dark Siders are smart they'll vote him off the island. He's regularly making them look worse than they actually are... which in itself is a pretty tough task. It's pretty obvious that college hoops just isn't his forte.

Many teams are ranked higher than they should be at the start of the year due to the name on the front of the Jersey.

Can I ask you why the people in Vegas (who know what they are doing) would have a UNRANKED team as a fav over the #9 team in the Country big Rezzie? Wasn't Pitt ranked at the start of last year in football. and they didnt't make a bowl. The name on your jersey means alot early in the season.

coming from a guy who thinks that a coach who has lead his team to a 37-64 record has USF going in the right direction.

No, my incredibly dense friend, I think any evaluatiing of Mac should be done after this season ... when most other intelligent observers think it should be done.

which is why there are about 1200 fans a night....... Oh what could have been if we were willing to hire a certain coach that is now coaching at K-State.

No they won't be, but they will be top 15 still, and that is a credit to WVU.

Pollsters will look at WVU and say, yeah UConn isn't great right now, but they were beat by a pretty good WVU team.

UConn is still 12-1.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."

    Jim Leavitt
