I'm in another NCAA football community, where one of the mods wished that we get whatever we may ask for for Christmas. After I responded, "Already got my present... making those Purple Pirates our HO HO HO!" the mod (a Bama fan who lives down there) responded, "Yeah, Birmingham was COVERED with South Florida fans the other day. I made the mistake of being on the interstate right after the game was over... and I got caught up in the post-game traffic." WAY TO MAKE AN IMPACT!

I think there were a bunch of USF fans that left right after the game, so the drive home was probably pretty packed.  We went out to eat that night in 5 Points and there was hardly anyone walking around.  I didn't see many ECU fans at all.

We left on sunday at 7 and saw a few cars on the way here.

My car flag snapped in half because we were driving kinda fast.  I was soo mad.  >:(

My husband wanted to leave the car flag on while driving back. I told him it would snap doing 80, so we took it off. I guess I was right. LOL

We left right after the game and the highway was packed with USF cars all the way to Tampa.

dont tell the cops but the flags can safely withstand speeds over 100  ;)

We left right after the game and everytime we made a pit stop and got back on the road, we'd pass a few more USF flags.  For a while, it seemed like nothing but USF fans on the road.  About 2:30 am, my eyes were blurred so I pulled over at a rest stop for a 15 minute nap.  When I got back on the road, it was kind of fitting to see an SUV with USF plastered all over it pull off at the Fowler exit as I passed by.  I made the drive with my 14 year old son and we both had a great time.  I don't think he'll ever forget that first bowl game.

The only real complaint I had was the crappy sound system at the stadium.
