For Those Not Staying at the Team Hotel

We're staying at the Redmont Hotel. Rooms are $90/night after tax.

When mapquesting the directions, the same address and phone number came up as a crowne plaza hotel,  but apparently its only about 2 miles from the stadium and on the same road.

Tutwiler Wyndham....$157, I think it was.  Looks like a very nice hotel in downtown Birmingham.  The Doubletree is getting pretty pricey.  Come on over, Bulls fans......

just booked at doubletree through expedia, the doubletree site said they were 500/night . 129 a night, dont know if expedia has anymore rooms available. Seems like a central location, close to five points and will be alot of bulls fans there. Still need to find ride to stadium though.

We are also at the Tutweiler Wyndham.  Looks pretty nice.

The Tutwiler Wyndham was $84 a night on the Wyndham Site before the bowl teams were announced... you snooze you lose.

Baymont in and Suites (2). Stayed in the chain in the Ville and it will be my hotel of choice from now on. $60 something a night, free wireless internet. Its a little on the outside of town, but from my experience with B-ham, its in the nicer/safer area than what some of the other places may be in.
