Whether you want to buy the argument or not, the fact remains that they are selling tickets right now and we are not.  It could have an impact.  It might not, who knows, but we will have to sell more in less time, bottom line.

It only takes minutes not weeks to buy game tickets. The impact you are alluding to would only be an excuse used by a team that doesn't have a large fan base who travel.

The only way it has an impact is if they sell over half the stadium and we attempt to but the game sells out before we have a chance to "catch up".

About the only way that would happen is if USF increasd the size of the HOT to 25,000 and they all travel to the bowl game.

Be realistic it's not going to be an issue for the Pizza Bowl.  USF has troubling filling the lower bowl at the RJ for a home game without the visiting fans and tickets are on sale for months.  Legion Field seats approximately 71,594 spectators.

Go back to Geography Class while you are at it.

This coming from someone in East Carolina, which is I guess what, the 54th state or something?

No one said ECU is the 54th state...

We do however, have a campus located in the eastern part of the state... hence the name. USF should look into doing the same.

Do you all want to know why the Muffler Bowl ended its Big East only contract? Why did they add the "or Navy" clause? You guessed it, USF.

The eastern part of the state of Carolina? Interesting, since that province hasn't been around since the 1720s. Let's face it, East Carolina, South Florida, neither of us have room for geographical smack talk.

I know its hard for you to understand, being as your education is less than that of the Knights. But when USF was founded it was the southern most public university in the state.

Are you 10 years old? That response made no sense...

Are you retarded?

There's NORTH Carolina... a real state...

There's SOUTH Carolina... a real state...

Then there's EAST CAROLINA... hmmm... no state, named East Carolina...

Get it?  Your name's as geographically retarded as ours is...

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
