I think some are being naive in believe Rodriguez will never leave WVU. Yes he's built a great team their, but the school has not given him the tools (facility wise) to bring in the better talent consistently (see: defense) and only gave him a raise to $1Milllion a year this past summer.

I won't say Rodriguez is going anywhere. However, if Bama, Miami, NC State, etc interview him, he will use it to his advantage to scare WVU into doing what he asks. Further his buyout is less than $2Million, chump change.

Petrino on the other hand is too expensive. I don't see him going anywhere.

A tuff nut for Miami since they will be buying out Coker at the same time.  Rumor has it that UM doesn't have bottomless pockets like an AL or UF type.

UM doesn't have the deep pockets of an Alabama, but I think I heard his buyout is roughly 550K, so I think they'd be able to afford that if they really tried.
