November 4th, 2006 -Raymond James Stadium:

USF VS PITT-This game is a make or break for us, if we do not pull it out, all bulls fans might be saving money and sittin home this holiday season.

JimUSFSig is not making 6-6 sounding very promising.

Sorry -- it is still possible to get to a bowl game at 6-6... but 7-5 is clearly better for our holiday plans.

I think at 6-6 we will still go bowling BUT this game is VERY BIG, USF needs to beat Pitt and Syracuse at home this year.

sadly thats what the NCAA says. an you could see a 5-5 Miami or FSU also bowling with similar records.

USF isn't Miami or FSU.  If we go 6-6, I am very pesswimistic about our chances of going to a bowl game.  Will we have earned it?  By strict NCAA definition only.  I don't believe USF has the weight in the market to pull a bowl at 6-6.

FSU and Miami only get an ACC tie-in bowl at 6-6... USF would be in the same boat - the Big East could have two 6-6 teams (USF & Cincy) - not sure that Cincinnati has any more weight in the market than USF in that case.
