Does your crystal ball show us getting an invite at 6-6 with that 6th win coming against Syracuse?

Are we a lock at 7-5, if we are able to beat Pitt, if so where are we headed?

I still think we are in at 7-5... At 6-6 we will not go anywhere... That's my take on the matter, I will of course go with Guru Jim!

i think the only way 6 wins gets us there is if Cincy is not bowl elig. or if the BCS takes ND Louisville and WVU.

Motorcity is out, Navy will get that............................I would love to go to a bowl game but def will save some money if we are a no go

Navy will get MCCB in Charlotte.

I don't think we have the deal with the Motor City, but if the Big 10 doesn't field enough teams we could move in on them. Michigan State goes 2-2 from this point on and they're in the Motor City Bowl without a doubt.

IMO, there's no way both L'ville & WVU get BCS.  Definitely one, but I seriously doubt both will.

We can still go to a bowl at 6-6, but it will take a few things for that to happen:

1) Have Syracuse win @ Cincinnati this week. Cincinnati then would still have to play Rutgers and WVU after that. If Syracuse wins, then Cincinnati will more than likely finish 5-7.

2) Beat Syracuse on 11/11. The Orange are currently 3-5. If we beat them and Rutgers does as well, then they would be out.

3) Have ND win up until the USC game. Even if ND loses to USC they should still make it to a BCS game with the 2 losses being to Michigan and USC.

Those cases would lead to something like this:

BCS with ND and Louisville/WVU loser

WVU/Louisville loser, Rutgers and Pitt to take Gator/Sun, Texas, International, Birmingham.

USF/Cincy would be there for the last slot. That's why we need Syracuse to win Saturday.
