If its in the 40s the weather will be a non factor.  Wet weather may be somewhat of a factor.  Come on 40s isnt that cold.  People are acting like they have to go up to Green Bay and play on the frozen tundra in the ice bowl with teperatures below zero.  If its above freezing it will be tolerable especially to those moving around.  Standing around may be cold, but I am sure they are bringing heaters and cold weather gear.

the weather is an overrated stigma caused by years of a bad tampa bay bucs team always having to go up to green bay, chicago, etc and lose during the late 80s early 90s.

when the emotions of the game start going the temp really doesnt matter.

I disagree, college and pros are worlds apart. most college kids are from the state that their college is in, most of our kids are FL kids used to playing in the weather down here save some coillege games where they played in different enviornments.  The pros players come from different college and high school backgrounds that can make some players more ready to play in the cold than others.  The cold weather on the road will make a difference, if its a huge factor or not had made to be seen.

BS it's mental and once you start running around your body heats up...it's not like they are going to be playing in GB during January.

I don't recallMiami strugling with the cold when they played at WVU/RU/Pitt

When they (Miami) played those teams they were head and shoulders above them talent wise so it wouldnt have mattered if it was negative 20.  However when you are close to the other team talent wise and they are used to the cold and your not it does make a difference.  Its like saying that teams that come to FL in august from cold weather states or the west arent used to the humidity and heat combination down here.  It goes both ways it may not be as huge a factor as some make it out to be but it does have an effect.  If its cold your on the road and the other team gains the momentum players will feel the cold alot more than if they are up a couple of scores.  Its not a be all end all that you cant play well in it but it can and usually is a factor if teams arent used to it.  I played ball in jacksonville for years and at the end of the fall the weather can get in the 30's and ill tell you that you feel hits alot longer when its cold than when its 75.

It's not going to be that cold, the cold front they thought was coming through dissipated.
