Stephen Nicholas is a rare athlete, one that is hard to replace because he has special skills few can replicate...his combo of uncanny strength, speed, and elusiveness is amazing at the LB position.  I'd say Watson is pretty close to being that too.

Everyone else, including Randolph can be replaced or there are guys behind them waiting in the wings that are skilled just need experience and time.

i would hope we recruit a lb equal or better than him

you have to get better

Try looking at USF's roster instead of bashing it ... he may already be there.

I plan on diving into all positions during the bi-week ... but may be a little busy  8-)

And some thought nothing of GrothE ... before the arguement starts about me comparing #51 to PJ, I was not ...

We have some serious talent at LB that is RS'd and possibly the MD transfer also.

I would agree.

It is a bit difficult comparing a OLB to a True MLB, but Moffitt is a very good MLB and I think after his SR year ... many will have he and Nicholas on the same level.

I would agree.

I agree that there is no LB who is currently better than Nicholas.  However, that's like saying that there was no LB better on the roster than Kawika when he and Nicholas were on the same roster.  In 3 years we could be talking about Sabbath Joseph, LeBrandon Glover or Alonzo McQueen.  They are not now better, but if developed properly could be better.
