In the past we used to sit there and call out the plays..so predictable. Tonight, offense and grothe and even the running game kept us all off balance, not to mention the huskies' defense. congrats to everyone. great game. great win. Matt Posted October 8, 2006 Group: Member Topic Count: 723 Content Count: 12,293 Reputation: 64 Days Won: 0 Joined: 10/01/2003 Author Share Posted October 8, 2006 well you witnessed HOW BAD This same offense can look with PJ in the game. rob probably has to cut his playbook in half.remember....rod was OC with Blackwell and i dont think too many people were complaining then.i am just SOOO happy that Grothe game back. it was a very scary moment when he went down in such pain as it appeared he did at the time. i was in the student section and there was a serious sigh of terror.Rod isnt going to produce a heisman but he is far from the goat of this team.he made some very good play calls...the only thing i wish he would do away with is that stupid QB draw option. it probably averages about 2 yards per play.i think that once Ponton comes back we will really see things turn around. Good think Ricky gets to come back against NC who has a terrible run defense. i expect atleast 85 yards from him. i hope CJL lets him be the feature back. 6 games is enough, dont let the ego get in the way...
