We had our top two RBs out. One from injury, and one from stupidity. Most schools would have a serious problem losing their top two RBs.

He is too small to be an effective every down back...Ponton: he knew the consequences of his actions when he got busted the first time, yet it didn't stop him from being stupid and getting busted again. Who is to say he won't go for a trifecta. Moreso, Ponton is still not a proven commodity. It's not like we lost Reggie Bush at tailback, and even before his suspension he lost his job to Plancher.didnt you learn anythingyou need to be 4 or 5 deep with qualitywe have no quality at rb right nowusf cant count on ponton and plancherrb position is openthat being said why would james come to usf where we rarely run james made right choice going to miamiRarely run? James made his decision when we had Hall, and were running all the time. If we had James, we would still be running all the time. Man, I know you hate using logic, but that was frigging ridiculous. I guess he forgot Hall the last few years. We rarely run now because our RBs get ONE yard and go down. TWO yards is a breakaway.

We were so close to getting him. We were never close to getting him. He knew he was going to UM the moment E.J. committed to them. He was just milking those free trips. But don't worry the days of the "U" getting the best recruits are now over, my contact at Immokalee H.S. tells me most of the kids want to be Gators now.
