They have to be the one BIG EAST team that has underachieved if anything this season.

The crowd is mosty Orange. The exact reason why I think bringing UF or FSU into RJS would just create an away home game for the opposing team. Navy is going to get the 6 wins necessary to take the Meineke Car Care Bowl this season. This will leave the Big East with the BCS, Gator/Sun, Texas, Birmingham and International Bowl. We will also have to hope that Notre Dame does make a BCS bowl game in order to not take a Bowl Game away from the Big East. If WVU, Louisville and ND all make the BCS, then that makes things easier for us, but that scenario is going to be difficult to have occur. We're 3-2 with 1 OOC game left. Syracuse should win against Wyoming to go to 3-2 with the remaining games being against Big East opponent. UConn is currently 2-1 (Navy result pending). I believe their final OOC game is against Army and they have the entire Big East schedule ahead of them. They could easily be 3-2 in their OOC games.Obviously we will need to take care of business against UConn and Syracuse (and Cincy for that matter) and having those games at home should help. Syracuse and UConn would still only have to win 3 conference games in order to be bowl eligible and the way the league looks right now they could certainly do that. Cincy will be a big factor in this because they have played a brutal OOC schedule that should help them, so we would want Cincy to beat UConn and Syracuse. I think that could occur because I had Cincy picked to finish ahead of both UConn and Syracuse in the league standings. The bottom line is that we don't want to see either Syracuse or UConn get to 6 wins because they would be a more attractive option to Bowl representatives. A UConn loss today wouldn't be good for the Big East, but it would be good for us.

That game could wind up much more fun than it looked at the start of the season.
