How ironic this article is, coming from the source of much of the rhetoric.

UCF will be fine.  A win at Marshall will help get their confience back and they'll likely be back in the C-USA east hunt.

So according to Bianchi, UCF can't even hope to rise to the level of the football program that is "the epitome of all that is wrong with college football"?  Byte me, Mike.  You change your tune more often than a Vegas lounge singer.  Actually, I'd rather listen to a lounge singer than you.

Lets get something straight.

HE IS A FREAKING COLUMN WRITER!

The things he writes are not necessarily HIS opinion, but can be points of view counter to the public majority.

People (including myself) love Tony Kornheiser, yet he was the KING of this type of opinion writing. Like it or not Bianchi has won several awards and is published in several papers in the south.

As for UCF, they're clearly behind us right now, and the BCS affiliation puts us a lap ahead of them. However, to suggest that FIU and FAU will pass them is as rediculous as claiming the BCS affiliation doesn't help put us ahead of UCF. They are building unbelievable facilities on campus that will keep them MILES ahead of FIU and FAU.

In fact this PAST week both Bobby Bowden and Urban Meyer has made mention of UCF's indoor facility, and asked (through the media) their schools to consider the same.

That being said UCF has A LOT...let's put it this way A LOT of work to do if they hope to pass USF, especially after losing 2, starting 1-3 this year, being in C-USA and the brutal schedule they have lined up next year.
