I'm still hopeful that the players we have will turn out well for us. Gachette has yet to even take the practice field and he shouldn't be overlooked. You never know when the next Marquel Blackwell type player will come along.

I agree that we should continue to look for great QB prospects regardless of who we have at any time. QB injuries were very prevalent last season on several teams we played.

Not sure if you meant it or not but M.Blackwell was not an unknown product at his time of graduation.  If I recall the "big boyz" back off him after he had grade problems.  It was pretty well known that MB was gonna be a good one.  As much as a coach can know anyway.

I believe most of the other people that were recruiting MB wanted him to play a position other than QB but I am not sure on that
