From Brett's Column today:

BULLS ADD WSSU: The men's basketball program added a road game at Winston-Salem State, a Division II school last season making the transition to Division I this season.

The Bulls visit WSSU on Dec. 7, the only team from a major conference the Rams host. The Rams play road games at Kansas, Auburn, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest.

USF still needs a home nonconference game to complete its 2006-07 schedule.

This should make some people upset that USF is playing a road game at such a minor program.  Personally, a nice easy road trip could be something the team needs before the Big East schedule.  At least they aren't Bethune Cookman.

How does this team stack up against Texas A&M-Corpus Cristi and Mississippi Valley State?

A Big East team is traveling to a current Div II school for a ROAD GAME??

But that same Big East team doesn't want to play another Div I-A school just 60 miles down the road?? LOL!!!

Reminds me of the commercial jingle: Please stop the madness...don't drink and drive...

Will USF ever stop the scheduling madness?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
