Is the BE better than the pac10 this year?

it looks that way after two weeks

the BE has improved each year since UM left, i hope we cont improving and hope in 5 yrs we can say miami who? (i know we will not have 5 NC)

the big 10 sans osu does not look too good either

ACC seems to be limping along

big 12 better pick it up

Big East has 4 teams in the top 33 of the AP poll

Pac 10 has 5

The top 2 in the Big East are higher ranked (WVU #5, UL #12) than the top 2 in the Pac 10 (USC #4, Oregon #18).

The Pac 10 have more teams in the 20-33 range (ASU #22/Cal #21, UCLA #30) than the Big East (Rutgers #31, Pitt #33)

I'd put WVU up against USC and take WVU.  UL I'd take over Oregon easy.  If Bush wasn't injured, i'd take UL over USC.

    RU gave ASU all they could handle in the bowl game last year and they look better this year

remove top teams from both conferences and see what you have

I think you dramatically underestimate West Virginia. USC is great, no doubt, but WVU is too. And I'm not sure USC's defense could keep up with White and Slaton.

I think you dramatically underestimate West Virginia. USC is great, no doubt, but WVU is too. And I'm not sure USC's defense could keep up with White and Slaton.

wv doesnt play anybody.their schedule is a joke for a top team.they can go 12-0 and they will not beat out one loss  usc ,osu,nd or an sec team for championship game.

usc opened at arkansas and creamed them.

USC would murder everyone in the BE by atleast 3 scores.  Cal was disappointing against Tennessee but would merc most BE teams aside from WV who matches up to expose their weaknesses.  Oregon is extremely underrated and could prolly beat all the big east teams except UL and WV.  The pac 10 runs prostyle offenses and has great speed which would pose alot of problems for BE teams on defense.  The only real offensive powerhouse the BE has is UL and WV, and WV runs the gimmicky spread O which can be exposed and shut down by teams with good defensive speed.
