I don't like blaming wins or losses on the Refs, however, there were some questionable calls and non-calls in last nights game.  Further cementing how bad the officiating is in the lower tier conferences.  It reminded me of the CUSA days.

They flat out sucked. Remember our game at North Texas? They blew a call where our WR caught a ball in the end zone and came down on both feet with possession before he fumbled out of the end. They said Gramatica missed a field goal where the replay clearly showed it was good.

Last night, they missed the obvious hold on FIU's punt in the 4th quarter. I still didn't see where Jenkins clipped the guy on Randolph's 1st TD return. It looked like Jenkins fell down without hitting anyone.

The only guys out on the field that sucked last night were the Bulls.

The refs were bad to be sure but they are not a good excuse for last nights performance.  We still should have beat this team by much more than we did.  Our young team has a lot of work to do

We have a week to work on our mistakes and grow bigger,better, smarter and stronger.  We need to pull it all together and be ready.

The refs could call a penalty on most plays, but choose not to.  I wasn't at the game so I can't comment on the officiating, but a narrow win doesn't exactly excite me going into the UCF game.  At this point, UCF is a 5 point favorite.........

I started a thread last night about this.  They called the helmet removal penalty on USF but not on FIU near the end of the game.  The ref actually walked over to the kid and told him to put his helment back on without throwing a flag.
