The FIU band isn't the FIU band. There the U of Miami junior band. Or so I heard.

False. How ridiculous would that be??

maybe our band needs to have mikes hooked up to the speakers at RJS like the UM band does. That way their sounds carries in the whole stadium

Hey I have a question on that...guess we're not used to dealing with other teams' bands but it seemed like every time HOT would play, the Panthers played too...this made things a little confusing when we were trying to do band dances! lol...but anyhoo...is there some kind of rule about that? About playing when the other team's band is playing??

i think is a courtesy thing but i did notice that UM would play and drown out the FSU band everytime that the FSU band started playing.

chicky,

It is all part of college football about both band trying to out play each other. I personally thought it was a good thing to experience because both bands went all out. Anytime another band visits us, I always know there will be two wars during the game.

I thought their band sounded great.  Their halftime show was much better than the HOT's.

no disrespect...but that might be the craziest thing I have seen on this board ever...

Their band was good.  But jeeze.  Ours was much more loud and marched a good show.  I sit opposite both bands, but closer to the FIU side.  In the stands, USF was louder, even though they were further away.
