#2---I'm a big girl. I don't have a bedtime. My mommy stopped that a very long time ago. Heck, I'm probably older than you. Perhaps I should be asking you the "bedtime" question.

Big deal, you did it in 3 yrs, we did it in 5.  It's not that big of a difference really, you guys forced yourselves to move up when the team isn't even ready.  Not like it matters because in a few years you guys will be back in 1AA since you won't be able to have the necessary attendance at games.

Hey you know what, I'm starting to like these FIU fans' spirit. Unrelenting, Katherine Harris optimism. Reminds me of us =)

Now, I'm not too worried about an upset Saturday. But I like the diehard spirit they're showing on OUR boards.

I'm not worried about an upset Sunday, I mean it can happen, Montana State did beat Colorado. However, I don't think the odds are good.

However, we were in FIU's shoes a few years ago. In fact most were convinced that we would beat Arkansas in 2002.

What about South Carolina in 2004...most proclaimed it to be a "coming out party"

Or Miami last year. I think most people high on the Louisville win predicted that we'd beat the Canes in Miami (please no stories about how a dropped pass that would have been a TD would have made the game closer, we were beat pretty good)

If FIU fans want to believe that they can knock off USF, then let them. That's why we play the game on Saturday.

I want to sleep with FIUmom... gotta pix? I like your enthusiasm for your program... good luck this weekend. We need to take care of business. Yes... we were in their shoes five years ago... but five years from now, FIU will be a different program also. There's enough talent to go around in Florida if they can string together two to three straight 8-win seasons.

you made the jump to 1-A faster, albeit to a worse conference, but you also achieved more losing seasons faster than us.  Congrats.

Give them credit for thinking they can win.  Unless you believe that, you can't.

Nothing wrong with confidence.  Let's see how they handle adversity.

Just to put your concerns about our attendance to rest, its tickets sold not in attendance....Not to worry, we will sell those tickets, just like we did last year.  Our AD has been very smart in that our plans include the possibility of season ticket holders donating "purchased" tickets to a childrens charity at a discount.  I myself took advantage and paid for charity tickets, an additional 10 throughout the season.  When you add together all our season ticket holders (about 10K at the moment) and their possible donations you can see that we are not at all scared of the possibility of not meeting the attendance requirement.  The important thing for the school, is to get those tickets in the stadium.  Speaking of wacky politicians, that's what most of you on this board seem to be.  Picking at the 1/2 people in our board who are overly optimistic, when in fact, the majority of us believe that it will be a minor miracle to beat you guys.    I will be in Tampa to support my school regardless of whether they win or lose and I think it will be an interesting game to see where we are in relation to other Florida schools.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
