Thanks for the response.  I was just glad Matt had a chance to come in and win the game.  I don't think we would have won with PJ or at minimum we would have had a hard time winning.  Maybe it should have been "Thank God Matt had a chance to come in" rather than PJ having to sit out.

What people want to overlook is that PJ was having a good night and the reason we looked like crap wasn't because of the qb position. Good news is that, at least from one game against a 1-aa opponent, our qb position is as strong as its' been in a while.

a 6 foot 3 qb got his passed  ball swatted in the air. he plays to small pj wasnt having a good night and we would have lost with him in htere

grothee saved the day

ari-growth may be short but he play tall/a quick release will make up any height disadvantage

I know you're a coach and all, smazza, but you have nothing to back that up with. He was 5 of 8, with one drop and one ball thrown away. He averaged 8 yds a carry on 3 runs and his best throw and best run were called back because of stupid penalties. ***** all you want about what he has or hasn't done in the past but Saturday's anemic play in the first half wasn't due to the qb position.
