Even with the new collapsible goal posts, fans will still not be allowed on the field after USF games. "Our policy is unchanged," USF assistant AD John Gerdes said.

Will they still use tasers??

so fans are not allowed on the field but they put in collapsible goal post.................

Sounds like the TSA is going to say stay off but are not going to go crazy in trying to stop students from running on the field

I'm sorry but this move is just a tease for us.  If you're going to install collapsible goalposts, then let us rush the field during reasonable wins.

I am 100% against abusing fans and all for tearing down the goal post when the moment comes (Bigger win than USF has ever had)  but I don't think they are sending mixed messages. Its like airbags just because you have them in your car doesn't mean you want to have an accident.

Alot of schools are going to collapsible goalposts.  I think its a smart move whether we're on the field or not.  Clemson went to these a few years ago after a student was seriously hurt "hanging" out on the field when an old school post crushed her skull.
