that's mccullum's base salary, not his income. not saying he's topping the list, but it's not accurate to list him at $200,000 ...

Basically, you're saying RMC is overpaid compaired to Jim Boheim as he has won a National Championship and makes $350+.  ;D

When RMC does something he'll have something to negotiate with.  Right now he's paid fairly for what he has accomplished in college basketball.

Bad comparison.  Boeheim makes alot more than $370K per year.  He's got endorsements, and makes a ton of money on the speech circuit.

I'm surprised that many more are making more than Coach K. But then, as has been mentioned, this is salary, not income.

But this little chart does give you a rough idea of how much money USF is willing to sink into improving the BB program.

I like football more, so I'd rather see us get a new OC first though

Actually, I think it would be more acurate to say that this gives you a rough idea of the amounts USF is NOT willing to sink into improving the bball program.

I've been saying this over and over for two years now: the issue is money.  More appropriately, a lack of it.

most schools lose money off of athletics rather than make  money off of it, there are only a few schools that actually make money off of athletics, a few being USC(california), Michigan, and Notre Dame
