All you're asking for is NCAA violations, DUIs, and 0% graduation rates (which are now tied into scholarship dollars).  I'd much rather the university go after a Mike Davis, or a top level asst. such as Steve Robinson (UNC) or Wojo (Duke) or something along those lines.

Huggins brings nothing positive to the table other than a big name.  Everything else is negative.  His DUIs, his rampant cheating, and his 10yr streak of 0% graduation rates.  Let's keep in mind that ultimately, these kids won't make it to the NBA, and need an education to fall back on.  BBall affords them the ability to get that education that they wouldn't be able to get otherwise.  And guys like Mike Davis, Steve Robinson, etc have proven to be competitive while still making sure the student-athletes go to class and do it in a dignified manner.  Bob Huggins would be the absolute worst choice Woolard could make if he were to fire RMC.

More lies and missed facts. 0% graduation rate, then what does that say about your program considering we had the best grad rate and GPA in CUSA the last 4 years. The guy got a DUI, he made a mistake, people should be able to get 2nd chances. Im sure you know somebody who has had a DUI, and were willing to give him a 2nd chance. When has he ever even come close to cheating. The one thing you cant say is that he cheated. As a bearcat fan it has been well documented all the times we were in the running for a recruit who was choosig between us and F$U, or us and L$U, and all of the sudden the recruit just bolts and winds up at their school. The last thing Huggs ever did was cheat, because it would go against his enite system. His sytstem was designed where he wnted players who wanted to be there and wanted to work, that is why he was so successful. That wouldnt have worked if he had players who he was paying to be there. If you ever knew Huggins, youd know the last thing hed ever do was cheat like that, and do come out and say ignorant statements like that unless you have facts.

By the way, the 0% Grad rate that was reported is scewy to. Most of the players that have gone through our system have been JUCOS or transfers, or left early for the NBA. If you look at all the 4 year players that have gone through the system and didnt have to worry about getting ready for the NBA(our spring quarter doesnt end till mid June), you will see a solid grad rate. Take a look at the 1991-92 team that went to the final 4. The only players that didnt get their degrees on that team were Nick Van Exel who is a millionaire, Corie Blount who is a 12 year NBA vet who will be getting his degree this summer, and Tarrance Gibson who is currently head of marketing at JTM meats right here in Cincinnati.

That's impossible. You can't build a program that way. Very informed people have told us that ...

Well Huggins did. If you dont want to win, go ahead and keep MacCullum. That is why your program is a joke, and youve only been to 2 NCAA tournaments.

Save your breath, I've been saying it for months. These guys just do not know a single thing about Huggins OR basketball.

I lived down the street from Huggins in Miami Trails for yrs, went to school with his daughter -- He's a good man, a good neighbor, and an excellent coach.

The forever-content losers will look just as stupid next yr with their excuses. I picture it now - "We lost three starters blah blah blah, rebuilding yr blah blah blah. No money" etc.

Pathetic excuse for fans.

Rueben

There may be better candidates, but do they want to come to USF?
