theres a stadium in japan i believe, it is where the field floats in 10 inches above, and turns to let the fans get a better view

there is actually a stadium like this already built in europe for a pro soccer team cant think of the name right now

Very true...In fact there are already 3 stadia that feature a movable pitch.

The Sapporo Dome in Japan built 2001

Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen built 2001

Gelredome in Holland built 1998

There is also Super Arena in Japan, its an arena that can convert from a soccer field to a basketball arena by the seats moving. The thing is by doing so it creates that setting(soccer field or arena).

It's being used to host the championship game of the World Basketball Championships.

I think that is one of the ugliest stadiums I've ever seen.  Very futuristic with no hominess.  All of the other stadiums they are building these days have all the comforts that this one has, but they look alot better.

thanks for your wonderful insight.

Haha, sorry, let my up why I hate NFL stadiums...

1) No Character - yes they have zaney designs and different looking setups. However, once in your seat they all look the same 150 large ads, media controlled site lines, and loud music that fills the stadium with "Welcome to the Jungle" or some other tortorous arena rock.

2) No Tailgating - these big NFL stadiums give you 3 hours of tailgating, by the time your set up settled in and eating you have to break down because you cannot be in the parking lot during games.

3) Lack of Atomosphere - I have been to big games where the atmosphere has been great, but most the time the atmosphere is no where close to the college expierence. I remember this past year all anyone could talk about was how "loud" Seattles fans were (they hit 112 on the decibel meter), however Ohio State and Florida have hit 139 -141 on a number of occasions.

"In addition to hosting Cardinals games, the stadium will host the Fiesta Bowl annually as well as the BCS National Championship Game in January of 2007 and Super Bowl XLII in February of 2008. The stadium will have a seating capacity of approximately 63,000 fans with the ability to expand to 73,000 for marquee events. "

usf needs to show they can be competitive(top 25) to deserve a stADIUM

IT SEEMS USF CANT PAY THE COACHES THEY LIKE.

WHAT'S TO STOP BUMS AND COYOTES FROM SPELLING THEIR NAMES OUT IN THEIR OWN FECES  ON THE FIELD???    If I was from a rival team, that thing would be a PRIME target.
