Was it luck on his part, maybe. Not saying its right. But his job is to coach football, not raising kids. That is their parents job. Furthermore, I have seen alot worse from our fans after every single football game.

Guest rueben_Horowitz
Any of you guys ever driven home from a USF football game after tailgating and having a few beers in the game?? Bet you have. Give the guy a second chance. If he has a drinking problem, it will be very obvious to his co-workers and he'll be gone.

It puts the university in a bad position as far as image if they keep him. If he gets off, then keep him. Lets see what happens first.i'm sorry but either way this does not change our "image" USF hired a local high school coach as a GA. this didnt make news anywhere but in Tampa. therefore, his DUI did not make much news but maybe 1 day's mention and all the talk on this board. DUI, believe it or not, is a fairly common offensive in hillsborough county and I'm willing to bet that everyone on this board personally knows someone who has gotten a DUI. does that mean he is a bad person or bad for our university?if we dump this guy i think it has a worse effect than if we keep him. Unless he has a drinking problem this shouldn't affect anything ...

Don't think for one minute that they won't use it as leverage.

I think this a non-issue until there is a conviction. Until then he can play I was tired card. Or I took some cold meds.
