It's not that bad, as 3-8 are pretty much all comparable.  The problem is that Pittsburgh and Louisville are really starting to get away from us  :-/

recruit rankings aren't as meaninful as everone thinks.

LU and Pitts facilities are amazing.

Win all the recruiting rankins you want.  South Florida was a QB away from winning the conference this year.  They know that.  Pitt is not better then us.

we will be solid.  If we can get stirrus in -- that is a big signee.  Pitt got SMOKED by WVU in morgantown last year.  they got beat by OHIO! for god sakes.  they aren't good.  we just need a QB and everything will be alright.

A kid from NYC/NJ/Penn that doesn't want to be 1200 miles from home.

USF doesn't recruit out of state; we live and die by our FL prospects.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
