THERE THEY ARE: Former Bulls running back Andre Copeland, who transferred after redshirting during the 2004 season, rushed for 721 yards and seven touchdowns this season, his first at Division I-AA Charleston Southern.

Defensive linemen Antonio Searcy and Curtis Chance, on the Bulls roster as recently as May, are playing for the Gulf Coast Raiders, a semipro team in the Southern States Football League that plays its home games at Robinson High.

From a DI school to a semipro team why!  Did he transfer to a DII team?

Perhaps the whole 'academics' part is the issue.  It'll be a tough road for them if they want to make a living playing semi-pro.  Aspiring to one day play Arena ball is sobering, to say the least.

dont waste space on the board for guys who had talent but didnt want to put in the hard work for it (school work)
