My unbiased overall conference rankings based on the final AP and USA Today polls, and the percentage of teams to get votes:

1.  SEC       3.47

2.  Big 10    2.84

3.  PAC 10   2.78

4.  ACC        2.76

5.  Big 12     2.07

6.  Big East  1.96

7.  MWC       0.71

8.  WAC       0.68

9.  C-USA     0.30

10. MAC       0.29

11. SunBelt  0.00

There's cleary a distinct division between the top 6 and the bottom 5.

Yes, only 3 independents.  Notre Dame (8), Navy (52), and Army (86).

No Army is independent. They quit C-USA 2 years ago.

I stand corrected. Didn't know that and forgot Temple affiliated with the MAC for football.
