I am wondering if it is hard for cjl to find someone with decent talent and background to become the OC.   Would he have to hire someone with no OC background, such as a qb coach, or could he steal one away from a smaller school?   Seems like it would be hard for him to bring in someone new that he doesnt already know.

Also does he have the guts to fire smith?   He would be taking away smith's liveliehood.  Would he more likely demote him to say, the center and snapper coach, or maybe line painter, grass cutter, or weed picker.  I think he is better suited for one of those jobs.  How often are OC's replaced in college football by their head coach?

Franks.  BTW, I met his nephew at one of the t-shirt stands.  Cute kid.  He asked me where I got my hat.

i think that CJL has too much loyality with his staff.

its a good thing to have but at the same time...we need to show improvement.  in 2 years with PJ at QB we have shown NO improvement.  its either PJ or the QB coach.  what is your guess?

Loyalty to the betterment(this a word?) of the team is most important.
