This is probably not good for the Big East's vision.  Realistically, UGa is gonna blow them out in all three games which will just fuel the fire for people to disregard the Big East.

Woolard has done an terrific job so far.  I'd rather not sign 2-for-1s and I think Woolard is trying to avoid that.

New AD, who took over December 1st (at Akron Before he came to UC said)

Thomas said* he decided against playing Georgia in football. His

predecessor, Bob Goin, had agreed in principle to a contract that would

bring the Bulldogs to Cincinnati and UC would play in Athens, Ga., twice.

"My scheduling philosophy is that if we're going to play teams like that, have a Midwest flavor," Thomas said.

"I would like to play teams at the  level of competitiveness of Georgia, but if we're going to do that, let's  play Michigan or Ohio State.

Let's play teams that our fans identify with

because of geography or from a rivalry standpoint."
