Matt Merrit the running game coodinator, rb coach, and associate rb coach left for the U. This is his replacement. Next man up welcome Coach james. As a former offensive linemen hopefully he can teach the rb to hit the lanes more efficently and the line to make some gaps to run through.

Were our RBs that dominant where someone poached our coach?  Or is he really good at recruiting Miami area?

Not sure. The running backs were decent last year, but not ground breaking. We still lack an elite rb.
