How has Marcus Edwards moved up to #2?  He was not on the two-deep at the beginning of the season.

They need to get the receivers to bulk up some.  They don't need Pittman-sized guns but Galloway-sized guns would work.

downfield blocking doesnt always require a lot of size.

True, but it never hurts.  6'3" and 210 is better than 6'3" and 195.

From CJL's Media Luncheon yesterday:

On Johnny Peyton and the wideouts:

“I said that Johnny Peyton (ankle) was probably doubtful but he looked a heck of a lot better this morning. I saw him running through the weight room yelling and screaming. He looked like he had a lot better chance to play. In his absence Marcus Edwards has done an outstanding job. Amarri Jackson and Marcus have been working ones and twos. We certainly have S.J. Green and Jackie Chambers. A lot of our guys have healed back up and they are excited to play a very good football team.â€Â

PEYTON UPDATE: WR Johnny Peyton worked out with the team for the first time since USF started bowl practices.

"He ran routes and did a pretty good job," Leavitt said. "He's not ready yet, but he looked close. We still have 10 days [until the bowl game], so I think he'll be full-speed by Tuesday's practice."
