Spectrum is the worst.   My sympathies.   
Those suggestions above are all good ones.   I know Fubo and YouTubeTV both have apps for the Amazon Firestick.   DirectTV probably has one too, but I have zero experience with that service.

I was able to add DirectTV streaming app to my roku devices so imagine you can with Firestick.
