The thing here is, this offense is built to run without a real progression development for QB's. It's all about the first read, getting open. But I agree, BB needs to be more comfortable in the pocket. So here's what I think may help in the interim -

1. Bring a TE into the back field to pass block

2. Utilize more RB dumps as a safety net if the first read does not create space.

3. Cut BB's rushing attempts in half. I'd rather he throw the ball away and we punt than him scramble and either fumble or get injured even if he picks up the first down.

4. Let the RB's work. We have road graders, not pass blockers, let's utilize them.

I kind of think your first point is why we haven’t seen much use of the TEs yet. The o-line is not ideal so they keep the TEs in as blockers, or they are a block and release type, but by the time they release BB has thrown the ball or is already moving with his feet.

It's only the greatest ever NFL coaching quote of all time

He's had a lot of nominees for that distinction . My favorite ...

More quips than wins.  Good thing his era was pre-USF.

I think the offience will struggle for most of the year because they don’t have any real play makers at wide receiver. Hopefully the defense continues to improve and the offense gets proficient enough to win.some games

this is the coaches fault

he should have recruited the right players or transfers  for his system

He never called him sell a offensive genius.  He is too smart for that BS.  He knows, success comes down to the players you have and a bit of luck.

when someone is getting paid millions a year to coach football

most would think he is a genius at something in the sport

offense is cag's thing

the offense looks terrible

all the excuses make me laugh

he needed to recruit players to fit his system

You do realize that this isn't like the NFL where the "recruits" have no choice of where they go if they want to play .... and "transfers" are usually already pretty successful and going to the highest bidder, right?
