I don't know how many sacks we had game 2 but it sure looked like the guy was pressured a good part of the game.

Officially USF had four sacks, but they all came in the 2nd half.

Taking USF and the over for my imaginary bet. Alabama by 20 or less.

Oh wow!! I wish you luck on that bet. I would not attempt that bet. If it was one of the final games this season I would like USF’s chances better.

In case anyone cares - here is the link to re-watch the MTSU @ Bama game. You have to connect via your cable provider to watch since it was on the SEC Network.

Perhaps we can surprise like we did last year against Florida and keep it respectable. I think being a 32.5 point underdog seems to be about right, and I think ( hope) we can keep it closer to 25 points.

Either way I don't think we learn a ton from this game, and our season really starts the following week when we get our conference slate of games going.

I watched the first half... and MTSU shot themselves in the foot quite a bit... 7 penalties including 4 or 5 15-yarders...  MTSU looked A LOT like USF... short passes, hand-offs, and QB runs.

I understand that Saban will have them ******** fire after that loss but human nature is human nature and USF is a lowly G5 program that’s won 1 FBS game in the last 3 years.  The players are probably saying why are we going to Tampa to play that team.

I'll be betting 'bama. Thinking 42+ point difference.

Only 7 penalties? We'll kick their butts in the Penalty Bowl. 😀

Yes, they are bigger than USF... the average weight is heavier than all but one OL on the USF roster.

The average height and weight of the starting offensive line is 6'5, 339 pounds with three starters over 350 pounds — sophomore left guard Tyler Booker at 6'5, 353, freshman left tackle Kadyn Proctor at 6'7, 369, and junior right tackle JC Latham at 6'6, 356

OK I was wrong. I know USF has a big line, I just assumed it was close to Alabama's.

Can they move at that weight though.

Yes, it can happen.  Does Alabama have THAT much better talent than Florida.  Probably not.
