Our A.D's were supposed to met a few weeks after the game on sept 17.   Anything happen with that?   Is 2006 the last year of the UCF/S. Fla games?

Doug Woolard told Orsini that there will be no more USF-UCF football games until guru/STK/SirGallahad/etc... shows up and takes his medicine. ;^)

No way, too many people showed for the game last year, both ADs know they need a game that WILL draw fans easily, and this is one...

Agreed, Joe.  Both schools have much to gain by playing each other.  The crowds make it worth it.

I do have to hand a small kudos out to Mr Real Estate Developer, though. He obviously finally came to the conclusion that we are indeed in a different league than them right now and to continue to pretend anything else would be ludicrous.........

It's funny to see him say that Sir Galahad on the rivals board is not the same person as STK. :)

I guess he is laying low until UCF gives USF a better game.

Word around the camp fire is that USF will be announcing future schedules very soon ... we'll know for sure then.

I wouldn't mind ... maybe not every year right now.

if schools don't agree

legislature will force it

as they should

economics demands this game be played every year

Most USF fans won't admit that the game has some value. From a sheer attendance point of view it seems like a no brainer.

The only way that I would halt an annual series is if USF can secure an adequate replacement every other year that will draw at least 40K fans/game.  Putting fannies in the seats and the money that comes from those fannies are the most important things right now other than winning games.
