UAB UTSA FAU are all worse than Cincinnati, UCF, and Houston. IF we are scared of losing to UTSA, UAB, and FAU then we are rock bottom. FAU hired a more proven coach  in Herman and UTSA's coach Jeff Traylor built his kids up with good coaching in c-usa.

I wouldn’t buy that. I do believe we are going to see Houston, Cincy, UCiF finish near the bottom of their conference this season. UTSA & UAB would smoke em

You have to consider the fundraising over the last 15 years... when USF joined the Big East, they spent $50 million to upgrade the athletic facilities - new softball stadium, new baseball stadium, new basketball practice facility, new soccer stadium... then Genshaft set out a $1 billion fundraising goal (most of which went to the Endowment, but also to build new academic buildings) which she felt would help with AAU membership... and that might have included a bit of an embargo on raising significant funds for athletics.
