ATLANTA; HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The University of Southern Mississippi Athletics Department, in conjunction with CLC, the university's exclusive trademark licensing...

This is cool due to the fact that Buffett attended USM and is from Mississippi.  Would you want to see this brand at USF if Margaritaville rolls this out to other universities?  If not, what other brands could USF collaborate with?

I was given tickets to Buffet’s show out here Thursday but passed. Still listen to my old Buffet music, but not enticed enough to see the old codger on stage.

I’d likely buy some M….ville Bulls stuff.  First saw Buffet at the Old Sombrero and his music played frequently between myself and roommate.

My fav celebrity line is the Bill Murray golf attire - I havent noticed them doing any collegiate stuff.

The best we’ve had has been Under Armour.

Start winning and people will buy anything.  I can’t believe some of the USF stuff I bought back in the late 1990s early 2000s.

I still wear my USF polo shirts but now I am just the punch line of every college football fan joke.

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
