Imagine a new football stadium and a pedestrian bridge south of the athletic district leading to a new mixed-use entertainment complex.  This would be the best outcome if it all came together as it would enhance game day and a good place for students and alumni to visit year-round.

A prior effort to put a mixed-use project on the site stalled in 2020.

Wow sounds like they are going to be ambitious here. The pedestrian bridge is already there too so tailgating on campus, going to a game, then walking over to the bars after could actually be a thing.

Between this, the on campus stadium, and the work being done on Fowler/UMall area is going to make the area unrecognizable in 10 years
