Guest
I sent an email to Jim Louk, John Gerdes, and Kosha Irby on Tuesday:Jim,As a die-hard fan of the Bulls -- one of many who actually listens to the radio show before, during, and after the game -- I wanted to make a BIG suggestion. One of the complains I have heard throughout the season is that during home games we fans are not informed about what is going on around the country. Now, I know during stoppages of play USF has the chance to thank its sponsors. That is important. But this is an important weekend for USF and our fans. With Louisville playing U Conn that same night - 15 minutes later to be exact - many USF fans will be at Raymond James stadium without access to ESPN's broadcast. Therefore, I respectually request: As you call the game, can you work in frequent updates -- on the Lousiville-U Conn game ? ? ? Please ? ? ?I will be listening to your play calling, and any news from Hartford that you get would be most appreciated by more than just this one fan. Moreover, if John and Kosha can ask the powers that be to include updates during the game inside the stadium (perhaps showing the score on the scoreboard from time to time?? or announcing it when the announcer has the chance??) - I know that would be appreciated.Just one little suggestion. I hope to hear you call a 12th game this year - and our 100th game ever.Go Bulls!!-- Jim JohnsonJim Louk replied:Thanks for your e-mail. We certainly will be providing the score from Hartford. We also do a full scoreboard in each broadcast in the pre-game, halftime, and post game shows so we should have lots of opportunities to give a clear picture of what's going on. I dunno if the Magic play that night.

Wierd.Bulls football is NOT the NBA. Porter's cheesy cheerleading throughout the game is embarrassing. "LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE BULLS DEEEEEEFENSE" Ugh. I have the utmost confidence in the Bulls fans to know when to crank up the noise. I don't need PP to tell me it is third and long.

There are some into it but most of the other fans don't do a thing until Porter says that. As time goes on, hopefully this will change.

A lot of the big schools PA guys don't do that
