Walking through the Marhsall Center today I noticed several old USF BBall pictures.

I know BBall has been @ USF for alot longer. Also, I know Big East is one of the best BBall conferences.

That being said, what do you old timers think?

FOOTBALL this is FLORIDA.

No comparison and i went to USF when we had basketball only and werent that bad at it.

I am a baskteball nut, but i'll admit Football is much bigger...more people care about it here.  Basketball gets very little support (although the lower level is sold out).

Perhaps it comes with the territory.  Im originally from south Geogia and NO ONE (I mean NO ONE) cared anything about BBall. It's a regional thing.

I'd still like to attend a game though, just to give it a try.

Please do...  the basketball games are fun... (as long as you don't assosicate fun with winning ;) )

The team plays with a ton of heart and hustle, as you have read a lot lately.  It sucks that we have so many injuries right now to such key players.

My sister was a cheerleader during the Charlie Bradley years, so its amazing when our hoops team is winning games.  But, for the most part, Florida is known to be a football state.  If only our attendance numbers would show it.
