Not something you'll see on a scoresheet but the Bengals long snapper got injured today and Wilcox ended up filling in. The Bengals had 2 chances to win the game with an xp and fg and on both occasions he blew the snap and caused a miss (or block in one situation)

Not his main job and fair play to him for filling in there but for someone who mainly plays special teams that was a bad day

His first snap was too slow, so he overcompensated for the second and it was too high. Hopefully it won’t impact his future too much.

I personally believe the guy who lets some of the air out of the football is a more important position (see: Brady & crew)

My wife is a Steelers fan.  As soon as they said Wilcox is snapping, I told her the Steelers are all set up.  At least he didn't fumble.

While the XP snap was a little slow, the kick was blocked because the Bengal on the left wing chased the wide guy instead of protecting the inside gap. Same thing happened when FSU blocked the LSU XP. Basic rule is to always protect the inside gap because it’s the shorter path.
