Hall of Fame QB Len Dawson, who led Kansas City Chiefs to Super Bowl IV win, dies at age 87

That was the first NFL team that I latched onto growing up, mainly for the studs on defense but still remember the Dawson to Taylor connection. Hank is still one of my favorite coach/announcers of all time..... "keep matriculating the ball down the field,boys" and as announcer, I've never forgotten his comment about a ball carrier needing to change hands with the ball as he goes down the sideline. I still consciously note that to this day.

Loved this guy. I met him back in my KU days…very nice as he let me put on his Super Bowl 4 ring.
