TAMPA (July 14, 2022) The American Athletic Conference announced on Thursday the home and away opponents for the 16-game, 2022-23 women's basketball conference slate.

Conference teams will play six of their 11 conference opponents twice and four opponents once each.

Coming off the program’s eighth NCAA Tournament appearance, and seventh in the last 10 seasons, South Florida will play home and away dates against War On I-4 rival Central Florida, Houston, Memphis, SMU, Tulane, and Tulsa. All except Memphis and Tulsa finished in the top six of the conference in 2021-22.

The Bulls will play only home dates against East Carolina and Temple and will play only road dates at Tulsa and Wichita State.

Game dates, tip times, and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.

The women's basketball team is stacked this year. Anything less than a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament will be considered a letdown.

Too many new faces to say we're stacked.  One of those things where on paper we should be good but there is the thing with chemistry, etc.  Coach seems confident.

Coach is very confident. He told me that he expects most of the games to be over by halftime.  Music to my ears…

After the past few years, I’m ready for some blowouts.  Especially looking forward to going to Oviedo State’s house and winning by 40-50, like we did in the past.
